I really wanted to like this book, but didn't even finish it. The paranormal aspect was new & interesting, but character development left a lot to be desired. Plus, the CIA storyline was so implausible as to be impossible to continue reading. A supposed courier making demands, doing as she wishes, civilians accompanying agents on a dangerous assignment? I doubt it. As I've gotten older, I don't waste my time reading a book to the end if I don't like it.Product details

Enjoyed this book! Lucy is one wild girl and very active. Love the action and the romance. I read Girl With A Dragon Tattoo and Lucy reminded me of her. I appreciate that I did not have to worry about having to skip pages because of x ratings. All the way through I said "This Lucy character will be around for a few more escapades. Waiting for the next one!

I am not a paramormal reader. In fact this is the first one I have read. I loved this book. It had suspense, where you hated to put it down. It had romance that was sweet. It was a great read and I will be reading the next book in this series.
Lucy works for the CIA as a courier. What her employer doesn't know is that she can see the future but only small glimpses into the immediate future when there is danger. She sees a problem in the courthouse and somehow her vision is clear to Johnny, a firefighter. Their growing relationship and her determination to complete her assignment makes for a sweet, yet suspenseful story. I will definitely the other books in this trilogy.
A rollercoaster of a novel by author Debra Erfert. The opening chapter pulls you right into the action and doesn't let up from there. I loved main characters Lucy and Johnny and the depth of their characters. Lucy's paranormal abilities are intriguing too. Overall, a great clean romance and nail biting suspense!
The paranormal aspect of the story is interesting. But the CIA aspect requires too much of a suspension of disbelief. A CIA agent is given an assignment because if she isn't, her superiors know she will just go rogue and do it anyway. What! Civilians that push their way onto the mission by saying, I'll stand in front of the plane unless you let me on board. Come on! Plus there are two cases of instant love that I just can't connect with. I was wondering why at 62% of the book, the author is introducing new characters. Then I realized that this a trilogy. I'm out.
Lucy James is a CIA courier who has a gift. No, she's not Wonder Woman. Lucy can see immediate disasters and has a brief window of time when she can change how things happen. Lucy often partnered with her, now deceased, husband and saved his life on numerous missions.
Now widowed, Lucy has decided it is time to settle down. As she is currently assigned to the LA office, she buys a home there. While at city hall attending to this personal business, Lucy sees two men, dressed in grey suits, pull guns and start firing, killing or injuring several innocent people. Re-wind, and Lucy escapes, drawing the danger away from the innocents.
Some of the people saved were firefighters. One, in particular, was close enough to Lucy when she saw the vision, that he somehow saw it also. Johnny Cartwright wanted to learn more about this mystery and this mysterious woman.
All this and more in just the first chapter! Very well written, action packed paranormal thriller romance. I highly recommend Window of Time and I look forward to reading the remaining books in the series.
