Denen's character development was some of the best I've read in a new SciFi/Fantasy series. I can't think of a time while reading this book, that I was bored or wanted to skip a part.There's some intriguing themes throughout this book, mainly good vs. evil. The violent scenes are there for a reason, not just to throw in little battle scenes to add to the action (although there are a few battles waged, they're not overly gruesome).

This was an excellent story! It is full of vivid characters and imagery, and the plot keeps you pulled in the entire time! Can't wait for more.

This weekend I finished reading (I should say "experiencing") "The Keeper of Edelyndia" by Benjamin J. Denen. What an amazing journey Orron, Ly'ra, Draedon, & the rest have taken me on! I have no doubt that this will make a better movie than Hunger Games...and I really liked The Hunger Games (novel). "Breathe, Connect, Focus"...& bring on book 2 Ben Denen!
I really enjoyed this book. It is well written and the author is able to take the reader right smack into the story. The story is a great adventure with a message and a book that is difficult to set down. I'm looking forward to future books from this author.
